A Spring In My Step

With a new season approaching, I can’t help but feel enchanted by the first blooms and idyllic weather. Here are a few little things that have been getting me excited for spring.

These pretty pastel hues are getting me ready for spring! I’ve been loving these two by Zoya. Madison is a nude-like pink that is more sheer, but I enjoy for an au naturale nail look. It instantly makes my nails appear more polished and elegant. See me wearing it in this post.

As for Megan, I may have picked this up mainly because we share the same namesake. But besides that, I actually have been enjoying this grey-ish lavender. It definitely stands out in my collection. This one is more opaque, I usually only need only 2 coats.

I’ve been into art more often recently. I even tried making paintings in paint. I can’t wait to grab some charcoal and a sketchbook and head to the park when the flowers are in full bloom!

Springtime is also when the farmer’s market becomes my weekend hot spot. All the fresh produce can be used to create something amazing, like this salad with sweet vinaigrette complimented with a slice of bread with fresh, creamy goat cheese.

I love being able to finally pull out feminine lace and floral dresses. To me, spring is romantic and ethereal, playful and colorful.
