Malaya Organics

“At Malaya Organics we believe skincare should balance and restore skin, the same way food restores bodies.”

This is the first line that I read on Malaya Organics’ website. Instantly, I was in agreement.

The problem with skincare is too ofen the formulations are harsh and abrasive. Instead of being crafted to restore equilibrium to the skin, they end up stripping it of its natural moisture.

This is not the case with Malaya Organics. They contain organic and naturals ingredients that heal, hydrate, nourish, and soothe skin.

Moisturizing Body Oil in Citrus & Bloom

This body oil smells exactly like a ripe orange tree: citrusy, herbaceous, and fresh. It starts off more sharp and blatant, then becomes more mild and nuanced; with the sweet notes rounding out the scent.

The scent fades after about half an hour, but in the time that it is prominent, I can’t stop sniffing myself.

I found that this product reminded me of a dry body oil, as it almost instantaneously absorbs into the skin without any residue. The first time I applied it, I kept adding more layers thinking that I hadn’t used enough. But, 6-8 pumps is all I need for my entire body.

I love massaging this into my skin and I’ve found that the aromatherapeutic quality of this body oil makes me pause and really savor the experience of it, letting myself luxuriate.

Ingredients: Jojoba Oil*, Sweet Almond Oil*, Sunflower Oil*, Safflower Oil*, Argan Oil*, Avocado Oil*, Rosehips Oil*, Herbal extracts – [Arnica Flower*, Plantain Leaf*, Calendula Flower*, Chamomile Flower*, Yarrow Leaf and Flower*, Lavender Flower*, Elder Flower], Proprietary blend of Essential Oils and Absolutes *^ including – Bulgarian Rose Absolute, Neroli Oil*, Jasmine Absolute*, Grapefruit Oil*, Vitamin E Tocopherols (GMO Free).

I also received a sample size of the Moisturizing Body Oil in Woods, that has a scent I found I actually prefer.

The fragrance reminds me of walking in a forest. I hesitate to categorize it as masculine because there is just the slightest hint of floral that keeps the scent light and fresh; while the woody notes ground it and creates an earthy vibe. It’s more subtle than Citrus & Blooms as well.

It’s so complex and layered, yet all of the scents meld together in symbiotic harmony.

Both I feel are unisex fragrances that any person will be enticed by.

Rejuvenating Face Serum

This serum glides on like velvet, sinking into the skin quickly. And the alluring, light fragrance instantly swept me off my feet, slightly floral and slightly more, but definitely pleasing.

When applied at night, I woke up with glowing, baby soft skin the following day. The kind of soft that makes you want to stroke your skin all the time.

When applied in the mornings, I noticed how flawlessly my makeup went on and how much more smooth and radiant my skin looked. For this reason, I feel like this serum also makes an excellent primer in addition to imparting radiance.

Lip Savior in Lavender

The Lip Savior is wonderful. It has a sweet peppermint fragrance that I love to inhale when I’m applying it. It glides on the lips like butter and left them feeling soft and supple. It also leaves a nice sheen.

Lavender & Vanilla Bath Salts

This product tied with the Moisturizing Body Oil in Woods as my favorite in terms of fragrance. Though the two couldn’t be more dissonant.

While the body oil smells woodsy and fresh, the scent of these bath salts is unequivocally feminine.

With two fragrances that I utterly adore-lavender and vanilla-I was excited to try this out, and it does not dissapoint.

The dreamy, romantic aroma instantly elevates my pampering time and leaves me in a state of tranquil bliss. Ive been saving this for after I’ve had an especially strenuous workout. It helps to soothe aches and relax my body.

Ingredients: Himalayan Pink Salt^°, Pacific Sea Salt^, Mediterranean Sea salt^, Epsom Salt, Coconut Oil*, Lavender Oil*, Vanilla Absolute*, Vitamin E Tocopherols (GMO Free).

I also received a sample of their Hair Oil.

I was only able to get eight uses out of this sample though due to its diminutive size and the fact that I have long hair that’s on the thicker side. From what I gather though, this oil provides just enough shine for locks to look healthy, never greasy.

It doesn’t leave a residue and I find my hair is much more smooth and manageable after applying this. As is the theme of Malaya Organics, this product also has an incredible scent.

I’d love to see if with continued use this hair oil would help with hair growth and preventing split ends.

Ingredients: Coconut Oil*, Olive Oil*, Argan Oil*, Hemp Oil*, Apricot Kernel Oil*, Jojoba Oil*, Sweet Almond Oil*, Avocado Oil*, Sunflower Oil*, Borage Oil*, Herbal extracts – [Rosemary Leaf*, Nettles Leaf*, Lavender Flower*, Chamomile Flower*, Elder Flower], Proprietary blend of Essential Oils and Absolutes *^ including – Clary Sage Oil, Bulgarian Rose Absolute*, Sandalwood Oil* and Geranium Oil* (ideal for falling and dry hair), Vitamin E Tocopherols (GMO Free).

*Organic

Malaya Organics utilizes efficacious ingredients and aromatherapy to create a stimulating, sensory, and enjoyable experience for the user.

I was swept up in fragrances ranging from sharp citrus to evocative lavender laced with divinely sweet vanilla. And, my skin was left smooth and radiant.
